Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her aid and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) expert services throughout an engagement while using the company's senior professionals in a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% on the registered pupils while in the schooling sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
